2. Who was in your critique group? What was it like working with this group?
In my critique group I had experienced working with Johana Guatemala, Macy Dillenbeck, and Sol Manuel Garza. The experience with my group members had been fantastic because my group members had always been there to critique my work whenever I needed the critique on my essay including other assignments in order to make my work gradually better and better. The final product of my assignments had turned out the way I would never think that they would possibly turn out to be. The critique that I had been given was very useful in which I had took most of the critique into consideration.
3. What did you make in this project? What are a few things you learned?
I had made a stencil that eventually had been spray painted and displayed on long piece of wood, my stencil had been stick figures that had represented a man and a man, a women and a women, and lastly a women and a man, below the stick figures that represented a man and a man had read equal which had represented that a man and a man shall be able to have equality just like a man and a women do, below the stick figures that represented a women and a women had read love because, around the nation they are able to marry but they shall be able to have the same equality as a man and a women. Lastly below the stick figures that represented a women and a man had read love because around the world a women and a man have a lot of equality.
4. What went well in this project?
I would say that the alternate art piece had worked out the best cause I had been able to easily come up with an idea to incorporate on a canvas, not only was it easy to come up with an idea is the fact that it was not very complicated in which had resulted in an overall great component for the Humanities half of this project. The medium that I had incorporated into this art piece had been painting, the picture that I had painted out on a canvas had been a hand print that had been colored in rainbow colors for a representation of the flag for same-sex marriages, around the hand print had read a quote "It's about love not gender", and lastly there had been bold symbols of a man and a man together, a women and a women together, lastly a women and a man. The overall component had been conjoined very nicely, it had really got the point across easily for the audience.
5. What struggles did you have and how did you overcome them?
Some struggles that I would say that I had came across was the stencil. For my final draft I had to spray paint my stencil on a long piece of wood which had been hard cause the stick figures and wording had lots of thin lines that I had to tape down in order to spray paint while it had been windy. The final product of my stencil on a long piece of wood had resulted in a stick figure representing a man and a man together which had read below with an equal sign cause I feel that no matter what in life a man and a man shall be able to have the same rights as a women and a man do around the nation, also the stick figures that represent a women and a women had read below love because not only do we all have equality but we should have the same rights as a women and a man do, and lastly the stick figures that represent a man and a women had read below love cause around the nation a women and a man have a lot of equality within one another while being in a relationship.
6. What things did you do well concerning work ethic and what could you improve on?
Covering work ethic I feel that I worked well on my alternate art piece cause I had really been able to easily incorporate different representations for Gay Rights. Another thing is my Alternate Identity Biography that had been a made up character that had been a back up story of a person that I would want to be. I could possibly have improved on the lay out of my essay could have been able to incorporate more of my side and the other side of Gay Rights. Another thing that I could have improved on is my stencil cause while spray painting it had resulted in some smudges.
7. How would you change this project?
I would have possibly stretched the project out more so that we could have had a little more work time in order to take our time not feel rushed in which would result in a good outcome. Another that I would change is just to either incorporate Physics or Humanities instead of conjoining the two together. When you conjoin Physics and Humanities into a project it makes it harder to come to completion of the different components while also learning from the different components. But, honestly for this project I feel that it was necessary and fun to incorporate Physics and Humanities, it just had been a lot to come to completion with. Also I feel that if this project had only consisted of Physics or Humanities it would have been harder to get the point across.
