Summary on the reading of "The disappearing spoon and other true tales of madness, love, and the history of the world from the periodic tables of the elements," By Sam Kean
In this reading I came across significances, evidences and lastly connections. In class we have been learning about the variations of elements in the periodic table and in this reading the explanations go further in-depth of the different variations of elements. While reading this biography I came across stricking information that is new to me, I learned in this reading it said, "Atoms that don't have enough electrons in the outer level will fight, barter, beg, make and break alliances or do whatever they must in order to get the right answer." This information stood out to me the most beacause, first to start off before reading this information, I didn't know that atoms fight to recieve the right number and this struck me because each individual atom should become an individual just like Helium and find ways to avoid interacting, sharing, or stealing electron.
